- Applicability and versatility.
CommsGuarantee can be applied to a broad range of
operating systems and hardware:
- Pocket PC, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and
Windows ME platforms.
- Personal and handheld computers on the basis of Intel
Pentium and compatible processors running under Windows 95,
Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows 2000.
- Handhelds (Pocket PCs) based on ARM, MIPS, SH3
processors running under Pocket PC, Pocket PC 2002 and
Pocket PC 2003.
- External modems with the RS-232 interface connected to
a telephone network.
- o Internal modems simulating the RS-232 interface
connected to ISA or PCI buses and telephone network.
- Internal modems connected to the PCMCIA 2.0 bus and
telephone network.
- CF modems connected to the telephone network.
- Internal GPRS/GSM modems connected to the PCMCIA 2.0 bus.
- Integrated or CF GPRS/GSM modem cards.
- External GPRS/GSM modems with an infrared port or RS-232 interface.
- o Cable RS-232-RS-232 (for direct connection of
computers) or a standard cradle.
- External Wireless LAN client bridges with the RS-232 or
ethernet interface.

- Network cards (ISA, PCI, PCMCIA, CF) with drivers supporting
TCP/IP-protocol.

CommsGuarantee is designed for file transfer through
the following communication channels using practically any
hardware available:
- Direct point-to-point cable connection (Direct Cable
Connection).
- Point-to-point connection using a standard landline
modem (Standard Modem Connection. In this case, a modem
incorporated in the first device/computer calls the other
modem connected to the second device/computer.
- Point-to-point connection by GSM modem.
- Connection through any TCP-IP networks such as
Intranet (corporate networks) and Internet networks. The
software provides both point-to-point and
point-intranet-point connections. It can work practically
with any types of network: Radio Networks, GSM ISDN, X.25,
HSCSD, GPRS, etc.
- Independence of the modem driver.
This feature is critical for hardware with no pre-installed
drivers compatible with the operating system.
CommsGuarantee on the RS-232 interface makes the
modem work even if standard resources of the operating
system cannot use it!
- Option of user adjustment of the communication session..
In the process of organising the customer system of data
exchange, one may need to change or adjust the order of
operations carried out during communication session. For
example, you may need to receive files on the desktop
server, process them, send the output to the PDA clients,
then upon processing at the customer's site receive files
and process them once again.
CommsGuarantee caters for all that in a simple
script language, which distinguishes it from other
available communication programs with rigidly preset order
of communication sessions.

Only 600 kB of disk space are required for
CommsGuarantee installation. This is critical for
handhelds with limited resources, which you can launch
